We went to the hospital tonight and toured the Labor and Delivery wing. It was the last time we'll take this tour, in preparation of a new baby.
All the kids were very attentive and found different things to be interesting. They really watched as the hospital bed went up and down. They thought the warming bed for the baby was neat. They were surprised to learn that babies are purple when they are born. They got to feel oxygen blowing through the mask.
We saw a very chubby, hairy, pink baby. Leah was quite surprised to see the baby's eyes open already. Now she knows one more difference between people babies and cat babies!
