I've just discovered that my 7 1/2 year old doesn't know who Donald Duck is. I felt bad for him for about 1/2 a second. I realized that he can name Nephi, Joseph Smith and Gordon B. Hinkley (and many more) from pictures. That's more important to me.
We do need to get him to Disneyland someday, though.
I figure if my kids know more about the people and stories in the Book of Mormon than what's playing on the Disney channel or Nickelodeon, we must be doing something right, right? I hope so...

ReplyDeleteAt least your priorities are in order.... I think it's great he can do all that. However, Disneyland is a blast!
