Living in a "Big Kid" world

Sarah has noticed something...her world. She is trying more and more each day to do the things she sees her brothers and sisters doing (though she's her own person when it comes to drawing on my couches with pens and markers)! Darned if her size and age don't get in the way of her hopes and dreams.

Here is a "pyramid" the kids were building the other night. I think they may have it a little wrong. But this is the safer way to stack them, since Sarah would have to be up on Joseph and Rebekah's backs. None of us are quite ready for that. Heck, even Joseph and Rebekah couldn't quite grasp that they had to half of their body on one person and the other half on the next person. And Daniel isn't making it very easy to stay on his back...what's with the elbow on the ground? Poor Nathan, he's always stuck with such crazy expressions.

One of Sarah's favorite things to do lately is dress up in the kids' coats, hats and backpacks. They are happy to oblige her.
She kept pulling the hat down over her face. She liked it better that way, for some reason. Ironically, she doesn't like it when I pull her shirts over her head. Go figure.

This particular morning, she wanted to watch the kids wait for and board the school bus. Whatever...as long as she keeps eating!
